Better late than never! July has been the craziest month I've had in a long time. I have no clue where the time went. Every month we have a crazy push to get Dollicieux up and running but this month we had more bumps than normal. Unfortunately our Feature contributor had a family emergency and couldn't finish her article. Our thoughts are with you and honestly, we understand.

This month we have some wonderfully unique contributions. The sheer variety of BJDs out there is astonishing and is one of the things that makes the BJD community such a beautifully varied place. It can lead to some wonderful friendships, not too mention some terrific disagreements but in the end, it's our love of the dolls that brings us together. We hope that Dollicieux contributes in a positive way to that lovely tapestry.

Letter from the Web Guy

Hello Dollicieux Fans! My name is Josh and I am the web guy for Dollicieux magazine. I also do the Copy Editing, so if you find any spelling mistakees their not my folt ;) I just wanted to let you know how excited I am to be part of the Dollicieux crew, and that our ezine is growing by leaps and bounds. Last month, we had over 1500 unique visitors view our ezine! Not bad for only running for 3 months! We also have over 300 email subscribers on our subscription list eligible for contests and special announcements. If you are thinking of advertising with us now is the perfect time. Not only will you reach over 1500+ unique BJD enthusiasts per month (and your ad will also be archived on the internet for eternity in our archive sections :) but you will also be eligible for our advertiser's contest for next month! Submissions

Call for submissions! We're currently looking for contributors. If you think you would like to write an article for any of our sections please write us at - submissions@dollicieux.com .

Our sections are:
The Fashion File - features BJD clothing lines and their creators
In the Spotlight - features any starlet or shrinking violet
The Feature - features BJD related items such as handcrafted eyes, wigs, shoes; BJD artists and BJD events (any event that BJDs are featured at such as cons).
The Tutorial - a step by step article on something BJD related (ie. photography, sewing etc.)
Through an Artist's Eyes - an article/interview with a BJD customizer/face-up artist accompanied by a small tutorial.

We only have a few restrictions for submissions. All articles and pictures must be "all age friendly", no 18+. Articles and pictures must be submitted before the appropriate deadline.
